Our website is always up to date with what availability each venue has loaded onto the system. You could try our advanced search service if you are willing to change colleges during your stay. If you are attempting to book far in advance, it may be worth returning to the website at a later date as most rooms are made available between two and three months in advance.

Please note that some destinations have age restrictions relating to people aged under 11, 17, and 21.

Are you experiencing difficulties with making your payment?

Suggestions include:

Check that your internet connection is reliable
Check that your card has sufficient clearance to make the payment
Check that your bank is not blocking the payment

If you are still experiencing difficulties, please try using a different credit / debit card. If this doesn't work, please email support@historicbritain.com with details of the problem you are experiencing.

We are unable to take bookings over the phone and cannot make any reservations without full payment.

Are you experiencing difficulties making your cancellation or amendment?

All cancellations and amendments have to be made through the my booking section of the website.

Cancellations and amendments must be made in advance of the arrival date (beyond that date, no refund will be payable).

See Section 3 of the Terms and Conditions for more details.

Can I reserve rooms without payment?

It is not possible to make any reservations without full payment. We are unable to take bookings over the phone.

Are you looking to book accommodation for a large group (e.g. of more than 20 people) or a conference?

We are happy to try to help groups find accommodation. We may also be able to arrange conference facilities. If you are requiring help, please email groups@historicbritain.com, giving details of a) where you are hoping to be accommodated, b) how many rooms you are looking for and of what type (single / twin), c) the age profile of the group, and d) whether you have already made any other enquiries. In the subject line to the email, please put your surname and the month you are enquiring about.

Do you require a receipt?

The booking confirmation email that you should have received having finalised your booking qualifies as a receipt. We are unable to issue any other forms of receipts or invoices.

Are you wondering whether you are entitled to a promotion / discount?

Promotion codes are only issued in very exceptional circumstances, by individual venues, and not in response to requests.

Are you a college, university, property owner, property manager or a tour guide?
