Maidstone: bed and breakfast accommodation

Maidstone is the county town of Kent known as the 'Garden of England'. The River Medway links it with Rochester and the Thames Estuary.

Historic Places to visit in Maidstone

Leeds Castle is referred to as the 'loveliest castle in the world' and was used as a royal palace by Henry V111. Mote Park has 450 acres of parkland with a 30 acre lake. Stoneacre is a 15th Century historic house. The White Horse Country Park is set within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The park offers beautiful countryside, local history and panoramic views. The site hosts the medieval ruins of Thurnham Castle.

Historic Maidstone accommodation, Maidstone bed and breakfasts (B&Bs) and Maidstone hotels

The more historic hotels and bed and breakfasts will be towards the centre but there are a decent range of hotels throughout the town along with more rural hotels, pubs/inns and B&Bs to stay at within easy reach of the town. Overall, there is a good range of bed and breakfast accommodation.
