Warwickshire, a county at the very geographical heart of England, boasts many historic towns including Warwick, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Nuneaton and Stratford upon Avon. Warwickshire is a West Midlands county bordered by Staffordshire to the north-west, by Leicestershire to the northeast, Northamptonshire to the east, Worcestershire to the west, Oxfordshire to the south and Gloucestershire to the southwest. Warwickshire is now a rural county since the industrialised cities of Coventry and Birmingham were removed and it is famous for its castles, ruins and literature.

Warwickshire is famous for its two impressive Castles of Warwick and Kenilworth and also as the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford upon Avon. As such these three towns are favourite attractions to visitors. There are also many pretty towns and villages throughout the rest of the county with nearby parish churches, museums and historic houses and gardens.
