Set in the picturesque village of North Cerney on the edge of the River Churn, the Bathurst Arms offers the intimacy of a traditional Inn , combined with the high standards of food, wine and accommodation expected by today's discerning traveller ,whether it is for a one-night stay, a mid-week break or a base for a longer stay to explore the Cotswolds, they will ensure you have a visit to remember. The Bathurst Arms has 7 ensuite rooms all are tasetfully decorated and one boasts a four poster bed.

Local attractions include Cotswold Water Park, Balloon Flights from nearby Cirencester and stunning scenery in the National Trust countryside.

History to the present day

 A 17th Century, Grade 2 listed Coaching Inn the Bathurst Arms has retained many of the original features including an inglenook fireplace that has a large woodburning fire for the long cold winter nights.

The restaurant was created by knocking through to the original stables and wheelwright room in 2004.

Food and Drinks

Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9.30am Monday to Saturday and 8.30am to 10.00am on Sundays.

Dine in the large, comfortable restaurant or enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the bar, which can also can serve you real ales and their own House Bitter in addition there is always a Guest Ale for you to enjoy.

They also have over 100 wines in the wine room, all with descriptive notes to help you decide. These change every week as they explore the wines of the world. Regular tastings are held every month with guest wine speakers. These happen on the last Wednesday of each month and places should be booked in advance as they can be over subscribed.

DirectionsThe Bathurst Arms can be approached from either Cheltenham or Cirencester, take the A435 from either town. It is about 4 miles from Cirencester and 10 miles from Cheltenham.

From the M5 at Junction 11A, follow signs for Cirencester. Climb a steep hill to the Air Balloon roundabout.Take the first exit signed A436. At the next roundabout turn right down the A435 signed North Cerney 8 miles. The Bathurst Arms is on the left just inside the 40mph sign.

From the M4 at Junction 15, follow signs to Cirencester on A419/A417. Beyond Cirencester turn offs is The Quarry Junction signed to Perrott's Brook. Take this exit and follow signs to Perrott's Brook. At the bottom of the hill turn left onto A435. Bathurst Arms is half mile on right in 40 mile per hour zone.
