History to the present day

A traditional stone-built Edinburgh Town House where Victorian period features have been carefully combined with a mixture of modern facilities and amenities to provide a home-from-home experience for visitors who return time and again for a warm welcome.

Food and Drinks

The breakfast menu is very varied and includes: chilled fruit juice, yoghurts, fruit compot, cereals/porridge, selection of cheeses, croissants/oatcakes and bakery items. Scottish breakfast can consist of grilled sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms served with eggs of your choice, fried/poached or scrambled. Brown or white toast with marmalade and preserves all served with tea or cafetière coffee.

Other facilities

The dining room can be used as a residents lounge in the afternoons and evenings. Ironing facilities.
