Introduction

A Full English Breakfast is served from 7.00am. The Billabong Bistro offers an eclectic range of European cuisine with an Asian twist. An extensive wine list, of both old and new world wines, is also available, along with weekly specials at excellent value. The bar offers an alternative gastro pub style menu with popular specialities including a gourmet burger selection. Sunday lunch with a choice of Beef or Roast Chicken, available in both the bar and bistro, with all the trimmings. For alfresco dining, your choice of cuisine can be enjoyed on the heated outdoor terrace. Guests staying will receive all drinks in the Billabong Bar at Happy Hour prices for the duration of their stay.

Directions: The city centre is five minutes by car, 2 metro stops or 15 minutes on foot. Newcastle Airport is 7.5 miles. A1 is 3 miles.

By Metro: Metro station West Jesmond less than half a mile from hotel. Leave the station and bear right down Lyndhurst Avenue. Go straight onto Sunbury Avenue and turn right onto St Georges Terrace, turn left onto Acorn Road and right onto Osborne Road. The Caledonian Hotel is on the left.

By Rail: Newcastle Central (5 minutes by taxi).
