Introduction

Situated in the north suburbs of Carlisle, Cumbria close to the city centre this hotel prides itself on friendly staff who are happy to help with a homely atmosphere. History to the present day

This Victorian terrace hotel has been run by the same family for 40 years and has gradually expanded through the years. The hotel is situated on the remains of a Roman Fort, Fort Petriana, with the outer wall of the fort running under the car park.

Food and Drinks

Choose from either a Full English Breakfast or Continental Breakfast. The hotel also provides morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. There is 24 hour Room Service. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu with daily specials. Also offering a wide range from light bites to local lakeland steak with a fully stocked bar with a selection to suit all. In the conservatory lounge you will find a wide selection of light meals.

From South: M6 to Junction 44. Take Carlisle exit and as above. 

From East: A69 follow directions North to roundabout at Civic Centre (Hardwicke Circus). Take A7 exit approx 1 mile.

From West: A595 to roundabout at Civic Centre (Hardwicke Circus), take A7 exit - approx 1 mile.
