Introduction

The Dog and Partridge Inn has purpose-built accommodation situated in the grounds. All rooms have en-suite facilities. The hot tub is available to hire for 1 hour at a time for up to 6 people and includes a towel for each person and use of the private garden, £25.00 for 2 Adults and £5.00 per every extra person per session.

The nearby Peak District provides walkers with numerous scenic routes, and the town of Ashbourne and Ashbourne Golf Club is just 5 minutes’ drive away.

Food and Drinks

A Full English Breakfast is provided at a time to suit. Guests will find it easy to relax in the traditional bar with its olde worlde character and charm, and its welcoming log fires in winter. Food is served all day as requested. The wide ranging menu features local specialities of Staffordshire oatcakes with a variety of savoury fillings, chefs special pies and local trout as well as a good range of traditional dishes, steaks and grills. A la carte meals are served from 5.30pm till late in the spacious restaurant, providing still greater choice with imaginative cuisine supplemented by an extensive wine list.

Other facilities

Baby listening facilities in all rooms, highchairs and cots. Snooker, billiards, table tennis and mountain bike hire. Pets are welcome along with special dog friendly rooms and dog food available if required. Dog walking service (please pre-book). The Gift Shop is located at reception. Conference and meeting facilities offered.

Hot tub in its own private garden available for Private Use. The hot tub is available to hire for 2 hours at a time for up to 6 people and includes a towel for each person and use of the private garden. Only £25.00 for 2 Adults and £5.00 per every extra person per session. (Please note the right to cancel).

Directions: M1 and M6 road networks are easily accessible in either direction along the Woodhead Pass. Manchester is 30 miles and Sheffield 14 miles.

Railway Station: Derby. From Derby either a bus or taxi to Ashbourne (40 minute journey). Buses leave from Derby Bus Station (get a taxi, bus or walk from the train station (turn right out of the station 15 minutes walk). Some buses go direct from the station to Ashbourne.
