Introduction

Dorset House is situated close to six miles of sandy beaches, Esplanade, Ryde Shopping Centre and Transport Routes.

The hotels comfortable bedrooms offer a range of rooms suitable for the single traveller to the family holiday. Mostly ensuite rooms with colour television and hospitality tray. Some with sea views across the Solent.

Food and Drinks

A fine breakfast is served in the Dining Room Monday - Friday 7.30am -9.00am, Saturday 8.00am - 9.30am, Sunday 8.30 -10.00am 

The breakfast menu consists of: Chilled orange, apple or tropical juice, a selection of teas and coffees, a selection of fruits, a choice of six cereals including porridge on request. The Full English breakfast consists of grilled back bacon, sausage, baked beans, hash brown, tomatoes and fried egg. A vegetarian option is also available.

If you don't feel up to a Full English maybe opt for the Lighter Selection. Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs served on wholemeal toast (£4 supplement) or kippers served with freshly buttered toast (£3 supplement) 

The Hotel has a bar open late for residents.

Garden with seating area where guest can enjoy drinks from the bar weather permitting.

The hotel offers a comfortable television and reading lounge, it also has a computer for the guests use and free Wi-Fi, a licensed bar, large free car park at the rear.

Directions: From the Isle of Wight Ferry, Wightlink, Ryde head West onto Ferry Road 3021 towards Castle Street, turn right onto Castle Street, at the roundabout take the third exit onto Well Road then left onto York Avenue then right staying on York Avenue. At the roundabout take the first exit to Lushington Hill A3054 and left onto Argyll Street proceed straight onto Green Street B3330 and left onto Player Street then first right onto Park Street and second left onto Dover Street.

From the Red Funnel ferry, Cowes go to Dover Road at the roundabout take the second exit onto Well Road A3021 then left onto York Avenue then right staying on York Avenue. At the roundabout take the first exit to Lushington Hill A3054 and left onto Argyll Street proceed straight onto Green Street B3330 and left onto Player Street then first right onto Park Street and second left onto Dover Street.
