History to the present day
The history of Eaves Hall Country Hotel is a long one, stretching back to Tudor times. In the intervening centuries there have been three Eaves Halls constructed on two different sites, although within 600 yards of each other. As a result, the current Eaves Hall boasts a tangibly historic ambience.
Food and Drinks
Jonathan's Restaurant serves both Table d'Hote and A la carte menus. It has become particularly popular among both guests and locals for its traditional British dishes with a modern twist and for the superb views of the hotel gardens. Elegant and refined, while dining is in itself not an overly formal affair, the restaurant does operate a smart casual dress code. For a more informal dining experience, guests can order lighter snacks and meals in the warm and cosy bar which features a garden terrace.
Grounds and gardens
The River Ribble is fast flowing. clean and perfectly suited to salmon and brown trout fishing in particular. Eaves Hall owns private fishing rights on either side of West Bradford Bridge, a short distance from the hotel. The extensive grounds at Eaves Hall also provide opportunities for other outdoor sports activities, such as archery and laser clay pigeon shooting (these two particular activities require pre-booking with minimum numbers). For individual guests there is tennis, golf on the pitch and putt course, a practice putting area and bowls on the Crown Green. There are 13 acres of formal and country gardens to explore!
