Introduction

The family-run Hillcrest Hotel offers you hospitality at its best. Originally built as a Rectory, it has a grandness and tranquillity not often found in the city centre. With most rooms overlooking Lincoln Arboretum, a quiet and peaceful setting. The hotel is located only a short 7 minute walk from the centre of historic Lincoln with its many attractions such as Lincoln Cathedral, Castle and Museums.

All bedrooms are ensuite, mostly with a shower. Also available are Executive bedrooms with views directly over the arboretum or a Four Poster room. All rooms have a TV, radio alarm, free Wi-Fi, beverage tray including hot chocolate and biscuits, direct dial telephones, modem point and hairdryers.

History to the present day

Built in the Victorian era, Hillcrest's former use was as a rectory for the clergy. Designed in the classic Victorian style, the hotel still retains some original features such as sash windows.

Food and Drinks

Full English breakfast is served in the Conservatory Restaurant with its peaceful setting and views over the garden and parkland. All food is freshly prepared using local ingredients. The Bar offers draught beers and lighter meals. The Conservatory Restaurant is open at 6.30pm with last orders for meals taken at 7.45 pm.
