Introduction
Mike and Brenda Harrison welcome you to their lovingly restored Grade II Listed Cottage. Among the many original features are a wealth of oak beams and two large Inglenook fireplaces creating a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
The accommodation comprises a Family room/Double room en-suite with TV, tea and coffee facilities. Two single rooms with access to separate bathroom. The accommodation is extremely private with a dividing door separating the guest suite from main part of the cottage.
Tenterden is well known for its antique shops, art and craft galleries, tea-rooms, and excellent restaurants as well as for the Kent and East Sussex Railway Station, from which you can journey on the grand Steam Train along the Rother Valley to Bodium Castle in East Sussex.
History to the present day
17th Century Hopes Grove Cottage is a Grade II listed property, one of several remaining original listed properties in the village.
Food and Drinks
A choice of Full English, Vegetarian or Continental breakfast is offered. Evening meals are not available, but the village pub is just a few minutes walk away and the Cinque Port town of Tenterden, is only 3 miles away.

There is a large mature garden in which to relax and enjoy.

A comfortable lounge is available for guests to use Pets welcome under special arrangement. Please request in the Additional Information section of the booking form. Ample parking space within a large mature garden and lock-up facilities for those guests who require their motorbike to have overnight security.
Golf enthusiasts have a choice of good golf courses within an approximate radius of 5 miles.

Directions:Leave the M20 at Junction 9 for the A28 to Tenterden. Follow the road through Bethersden to High Halden. Passing The Chequers Inn on your right, Hopes Grove Cottage is approximately 500 metres on the right (just after the third small trafffic island). The cottage stands well back from the road with ample parking.
Train stations: Headcorn, 8 miles or Ashford International.
