Walking Tour of Oxford University (Oxford)
Offering a memorable tour of Oxford and showing the very best of the historic city and university.
Introduction
On the Walking Tour of Oxford University, your guide will show you the very best of Oxford. The famous university city can conveniently be explored on foot, giving access to many places from which powered transport is excluded.
Our tours last approximately an hour and a half, during which time we visit historic colleges, view notable examples of British architecture, and talk about one the very greatest and most visually impressive of European universities. All entrances are included in our price structure and you are encouraged to ask questions of the guide, who will do his or her very best to satisfy your curiosity.
Our guides are local experts and University graduates with many years' experience of conducting walking tours. They will be happy to answer any questions you have about the university and are dedicated to ensuring that your trip to Oxford stands out as an enjoyable and informative look at one of the finest university cities in the world. Over the years our experience of taking people from many nationalities on tours of Oxford has given us a good idea of how to communicate and explain the special features which make it different from most university towns. We provide our customers with an accurate and expansive account of the university's history, architecture and present workings, with the aim of presenting a total picture of one of Britain's greatest treasures.
