Mill Hay accepts no more than six guests on a bed and breakfast basis at anytime to ensure your well earned break is as private and exclusive as you deserve. Choose from two double ensuites or the Garden Suite with a regency king-size four poster bed.

History to the present day

This impressive early 18th-century stone house has many original features complemented by quality decor, period furniture and works of art. 

Food and Drinks

As well as the traditional Full English Breakfast other options include...Boiled Eggs with a touch of Lumpfish Caviar. This is accompanied by mother's "soldiers" Scottish Porridge with sultanas, honey, maple syrup and cream. Baked Eggs Mill Hay, sumptuous combination of cherrywood smoked ham, freshly grated parmesan and a dash of cream to turn breakfast into a feast. Oak Smoked Salmon served with fluffy Scrambled Eggs and a touch of lime. A wonderful dish, traditionally served in the Great Hotels of the World.

Grounds and gardens

Set in three acres of immaculate grounds beside a medieval watermill. Relax on teak steamers by the lake or stroll through the ancient rose gardens. The outside world seems a million miles away.
