History to the present day
Otterburn Hall is an 18th Century country house which was altered and improved around 1840. It held an estate of just over 216 acres embracing six other houses, including Bodkin House and Kendal House. Early history shows that there would almost certainly have been a substantial property on the current site since medieval times.
