Introduction
The Park Hotel has been recently refurbished combining the old with the new and offers four en suite rooms and a beauty treatment room. The Hatters Bar still has its original fire place with oak wood panelling serving real Welsh and English locally brewed ales and fine wines. It is ideally placed between the historic town of Abergavenny and the City of Hereford so you can experience some of the most beautiful natural attractions that South Wales has to offer, from the Wye Valley - the most romantic valley in Wales - to the Black Mountains.
Food and Drinks
Full English breakfast is served. The Hatters Bistro Style Restaurant is light-filled and very modern with views of the Hatteral Hill - a most pleasant setting. The Restaurant is open from midday and serves international cuisine made from the freshest and highest quality ingedients from local suppliers such as Vin Sullivans. Austrian and German signature dishes, along with Welsh Black Beef fillet steak and Welsh Lamb can be found with something sure to please everyone, wheel chair accessible and families welcome. Special dietary requirements are catered for on request and an extensive vegetarian choice is available.
Grounds and gardens
The Park Hotel's manciured garden has an abundance of flowers, trees and wildlife and is an idyllic place to relax on a fine summers day or evening. Enjoy a cool refreshing drink and a light meal. Dogs are welcome too. With fabulous views of the Black Mountains, the sun trapped garden has a patio table and chairs and many original features dating back to the 18th century house.
