Introduction

Prospect House nestles in the stunning North Staffordshire moorlands close to the Peak District National Park with glorious walks and drives and plenty of outdoor pursuits such as cycling or pony trekking. Just nine miles from Alton Towers and close to the spa towns of Buxton and Ashbourne. Visit the magnificent stately homes of Shugborough or Chatsworth. In Cheddleton itself take a nostalgic journey on the Churnet Valley Steam Railway or cruise along the Cauldon Canal. 

Choose from twin, or double rooms, which include original beams and character features. All rooms are en-suite with shower facilities. Guests have independent access to come and go as you please.

History to the present day

All rooms are housed within a beamed Victorian coach-house, built in 1838 around a courtyard. 

Food and Drinks

Full English breakfast is served freshly to order every day using best quality ingredients. Flexible mealtimes are offered to suit your itinerary and special dietary requirements can be catered for.

Sit and relax in the secluded courtyard garden. 

Other facilities

Guest can relax in the cosy guest sitting room equipped with video recorder library and games. Alternatively, sit in the sun lounge overlooking the cottage garden.

Directions: From the A520 pass through the village of Wetley Rocks. At the northern end of the village. Continue for one mile and property is on the left hand side. Travelling South, from Leek take the A520 towards Stone for about four miles. Pass through the village of Cheddleton. Go straight across at small roundabout, property is on the right hand side.
