Introduction
The Royal Marine Hotel offers superior ensuite accommodation, food and leisure facilities amid coastal scenery just one hour's drive from Inverness.
With a fine Links Golf Course and sandy beach just a few minute's walk from the hotel, the Royal Marine boasts excellent leisure facilities, fishing, mountain biking, walking and sightseeing.
History to the present day
Sir Robert Lorimer designed the original mansion house in 1913 as a private home for a northern industrialist. The property was built a few years before Lorimer’s return to Brora, immediately after the First World War, when he was commissioned by The Duke of Sutherland to restore Dunrobin Castle, which had been ravaged by fire in 1915.

The Bistro – Dinner 6pm to 9pm
