Introduction

Welcome to Rushton Hall, the epitome of elegance in the new generation of country estate hotels. You will find 45 luxurious en suite bedrooms, each with its own unique design, comfort and style. Huge stone and timber fireplaces adorn virtually every room, whilst ornate plasterwork and stained glass can be found in the Great Hall, Drawing Room, Dining Room Library, and numerous other rooms. The restaurant proudly resides in the oak linen-fold panelled dining hall, with ambient lighting, modern English food and a superb wine cellar. History to the present day

'Rushton Hall is charmingly situated upon a gentle eminence which rises from the Ise, a small stream waters the park'. Excerpt taken from Northampton County Magazine February 1929.

Commenced by Sir John Tresham and his family around 1438 who through generations, owned the hall for nearly 200 years, and was later enlarged and embellished by the Cockayne family around 1630. Sir Thomas Tresham created the Oratory which houses the precious plaster representation of Passion, dated 1577. It was removed from St Peters Church, which once stood in the grounds of the hall.

Food and Drinks

Full English breakfast is served Monday to Friday 7.00am - 9.30am and weekends 8.00am - 10.00am. n the restaurant the chefs are dedicated to serving food that is not only inspirational, but is of a consistently high calibre. Ingredients are always of the best quality, using seasonal and local produce wherever possible, taking pride in producing Rushton's own breads, cakes, pastries and pastas.

The light Bites menu is served in the Great Hall and Courtyard from Monday to Saturday between 12.00pm and 2.00pm. The restaurant is open from 12.00pm - 2.00pm for lunch Saturday & Sundays only. Afternoon tea is served in the Great Hall or Courtyard between 3.00pm and 5.00pm. The Restaurant is open for dinner between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.

Rushton Hall is surrounded by some of the most beautiful, tranquil countryside, making it an ideal venue for weddings, receptions and business events.

Other facilities

The Stableyard Spa and swimming pool provides residents with a haven of relaxation in a beautiful setting. It is situated in the grounds of the original Rushton Hall stables and is linked to the hotel by a glazed corridor. Tennis Courts and a Croquet Lawn are also available.

Directions: Situated on the western edge of the small village of Rushton, the nearest town is Rothwell, 2 miles to the west which is now bypassed by the A14. The nearest main towns are Corby and Kettering, which have all the usual shopping, commercial and leisure facilities.

Kettering railway station has direct links to London St. Pancras (45 mins approx).
