Introduction

The Salutation Inn is privately owned and run by its owners John & Gwawr Denley and was originally a 16th Century Coaching Inn. In the 1970's 8 en-suite bedrooms were built on at the rear of the building adjacent to the large car park. The Inn has a lounge bar where meals are served daily, a locals bar with a pool table. A new restaurant was built in 2006 overlooking the gardens and River Nevern

Food and Drinks

Full English breakfast is served. The lounge bar is open seven days a week for home cooked food prepared using as far as possible local produce. The menu has a selection of starters such as home made pate's and soups. Main courses including local Welsh Lamb, seafood and salmon from the River Nevern and a specials board offering the dishes of the day.The wine list offers wines from around the world, and a selection of beers and lagers including real ales. Denleys restaurant is open for Sunday lunches and during the summer season and for parties and functions.

Grounds and gardens

The Salutation has a large car park and gardens leading down to the River Nevern where meals are served weather permitting.

Pembrokeshire is well known for its Castles Churches and of course St Davids Cathedral. Near to the Salutation Inn is Pentre Ifan and ancient burial chamber, and Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort, operated by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Other facilities

A launderette is available for guests use. Packed lunches can be prepared for you and available after breakfast. Wi Fi is available in the public areas of the Inn.
