Introduction

This family run hotel has been welcoming guests for over 40 years and is situated just half a mile from Cardiff city centre. An ideal base from which to explore local attractions such as Castell Coch, Cardiff Castle, Landaff Cathedral and the Millennium Stadium to name just a few. 

Choose from a variety of accommodation including single, twin and double rooms all attractively furnished with modern facilities.

History to the present day

Built in 1888 at the height of the Victorian era, the hotel retains many original internal and external features. 

Food and Drinks

Freshly cooked English/Welsh breakfast is included and served each morning accompanied by a full rack of toast with free range butter and jams, Fairtrade tea, coffee and orange juice. In addition, other breakfast items are available such as a selection of cereals and vegetarian options. Produce is sourced locally wherever possible.

Guests are able to use the dining room throughout the day if required.  

Grounds and gardens

The garden is ideal for reading or relaxing and guests are able to use the hardwood garden furniture or swing seats. The garden has a selection of fruit trees on display medlar, plum, pear, fig and walnut trees amid various flowers, plants and herbs.
