Introduction

The Grange is a beautiful Georgian farmhouse set in picturesque rural countryside - a haven of peace and tranquillity which makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy yourself.

Perfectly positioned for exploring the best of Lincolnshire, the historic city of Lincoln is only 20 minutes away and the coast and market towns are all within easy reach. A county steeped in history and perfect for aviation enthusiasts with the World War air fields, and the traditional Wold villages and market towns.

All the ensuite rooms offer every facility for comfort and care, with perfect views across the Lincolnshire farmland and the guest sitting room is perfect to relax in.

History to the present day

The Georgian farmhouse was originally built in 1820 and has been in the Stamp family since 1920. The fifth generation now farm the land and welcome guests to their home. The accommodation has won numerous awards over the years and in 2009 it was awarded Bronze in the east Midlands Best Bed and Breakfast category helping celebrate the high level of standards we maintain.

Food and Drinks

Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room with its far reaching views over the fields. We are members of Taste of Lincolnshire, and ensure all our produce is sourced and grown locally. The traditional Lincolnshire breakfast is our speciality, with Lincolnshire sausages and bacon, eggs from our chickens roaming freely around the grounds, fruit in season and local honey and preserves. Open log fires blaze in the hearth in winter.

A welcome tray of tea and cakes is served on arrival, a chance to unwind.

Grounds and gardens

The house is set in extensive gardens with a grass and hard tennis court. A grass airstrip is adjacent to the farm welcoming guests wishing to fly in. An award winning farm trail is accessible from the house where an abundance of wild life can be seen, with snowdrops, bluebells, boxing hares, birdsong, crickets, dragonflies and kingfishers.

Try fishing in our picturesque trout lake or simply sit at the water's edge and watch the sun go down.

Other facilities

There is plenty of safe car parking space to accommodate larger vehicles and trailers if necessary.
