Introduction

Once a working farm, Three Wells is now a unique small hotel nestled in the heart of Wales. Set amidst the rolling Welsh countryside with views over the lake and sleepy, sheep-filled meadows, it is the perfect place for exploring historic Wales.

History to the present day

The site of Three Wells has been a working farm since pre-medieval times. Built as a traditional farmhouse around 1900, but it still overlooks the far more ancient stone-built farm buildings that are amongst the oldest buildings in Wales.

The hotel retains much of its traditional farmhouse charm and has been gradually expanded as a bed and breakfast and a small hotel for the last forty years. A lake was also added in front of the house which hosts a variety of wildlife.

Food and Drinks

Lakeview Restaurant is where you will be served with a full cooked or continental breakfast while enjoying a remarkable view; a range of evening meals are also offered and are available all year round.

With a fully licensed lounge bar  that has a wide range of ales, wines and spirits and with a bar food menu if you are looking for something less formal than the restaurant.

Grounds and gardens

Watch the family of Dab chicks, Moor Hens, Kingfishers and the resident swans on the lake in front of the house.

Other facilities

Stair lift to the first floor. Guest lounge with television and licensed bar.
